Successful Report of the Proactive Cyber Security for Indonesia Seminar by Perkom and Huawei

On 24 July 2024 at Ayana Hotel Jakarta, PT Perkom Indah Murni, in collaboration with Huawei, successfully held a seminar titled "Proactive Cyber Security for Indonesia." This event was a success, attended by various stakeholders in the field of cyber security, including IT professionals, decision-makers, and cyber security experts from various industries.

Seminar Objectives

The seminar aimed to deepen the understanding of the importance of proactive cybersecurity in addressing increasingly complex threats in the digital era. Additionally, it served as a platform to introduce Huawei's advanced security solutions, namely Huawei HiSec, and the Security Operations Center (SOC) from Cisometric.

Keynote Speakers

The seminar featured several expert keynote speakers:

• Victor Lapian from Huawei,  provided an in-depth explanation of the technology and key features of Huawei HiSec. 
• Wawan Setiawan from Cisometric, highlighted the critical role of SOC in managing and responding to security incidents in real time. 

Huawei Hisec Solution

In their presentation, Huawei introduced the Huawei Hisec solution, designed to offer comprehensive protection against cyber threats. Key features of Huawei Hisec include:

1. AI-Based Anomaly Detection : Leveraging artificial intelligence to automatically detect suspicious activities.
2. Risk Management : Identifying and managing security risks more effectively.
3. End-to-End Protection : Providing thorough protection from devices to the network.

Cisometric's SOC

Cisometric's SOC was also a highlight of the seminar. The SOC is equipped with cutting-edge technology to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats swiftly. Key features of Cisometric's SOC include:

1. 24/7 Monitoring : Ensuring continuous oversight of network activities.
2. Incident Response : Rapid response to security incidents to minimize impact.
3. Threat Intelligence : Utilizing threat intelligence to strengthen defense strategies.

Response and Feedback
