ChatGPT is currently being widely used and gaining popularity in various circles, but along with the increase, there are also various threats from irresponsible parties. A study by Palo Alto Networks' cyber intelligence team, Unit 42, revealed that they detect more than 100 scams involving ChatGPT every day. The modus operandi is diverse and takes full advantage of the fame and high trust in this technology.

Copycat Apps on App Store and Play Store: Fake apps claiming to offer ChatGPT services are circulating in various app stores. If you download these apps, you will be prompted to pay for the fake service or hand over sensitive data.
Phishing Ads and Emails: Finally, they do it through digital ads and phishing emails that direct victims to fake sites or services. These messages often offer additional features or premium access that don't exist.
