How Fast is Wifi 6?

Wifi 6 speed is estimated at 9.6 Gbps, a significant increase from the previous generation (Wifi 5). Devices connected to a Wifi 6 network will stay at their highest speed no matter how busy the network is!

The speed of Wifi 6 is due to two technologies: MU-MIMO and OFDMA.

MU-MIMO allows routers to engage with multiple devices simultaneously. With WiFi 6, this number increases to a maximum of eight devices. OFDMA, on the other hand, allows for many different devices simultaneously.
